So anyway - I really tried to hang on with them because I have one Yahoo Group I can't go to anymore - I have been free of them for long enough that finally some of the things that annoyed me about them are fading into history, I can't remember exactly what, i just know they were getting on my last nerve.įor a while they would randomly send a message that due to high activity they were SORRY but I couldn't send anything - basically was sent to Adult Timeout I guess.
Used to be you could get hold of someone there to email if you had a question but those days are gone. Why would I change my Display to suit them and probably thereby screw up my settings for everyone else but them? if it ain't broke don't fix it. No other site I went to bugged me about my Display Settings. They got to be more trouble than they were worth, always hassling me about changing to the NEW EMAIL when their NEW EMAIL sucked, I just wanted to be left alone.
They were always hassling me about something, oftten times I'd get the message that my Display Settings needed to be something else. I update all my programs every few days and defrag my hard drive once a month, so that should not be the cause of the problem!Īfter having had a Yahoo account for years I finally cut ties with them. Yahoo loads up normally, then when I go to go to view my emails, go to enter Yahoo Fantasy Sports, or any other yahoo page except the main Yahoo page, My computer freezes up and the Web Browser freezes up along with any other program that is operating at the time!! I looked on Yahoo about it but could not find anything except a reference about having too many contacts and something similar happening but only when Yahoo starts up or loads up. Every time I go to and try to go to my email, Yahoo Fantasy Sports, or do something else on My computer freezes up and My web browser freezes up for about a minute or 2! No matter what web browser I am using it still happens and no matter what Yahoo email account I use it still happens!! I am getting sick and tired of it!! I tried Clearing Web browser Cache, Computer Cache, Clearing Cookies, Changing/Using different Web Browsers, and restarting my computer, But it still happens!! I am at a loss as to why this is happening and to how to prevent this from happening!!ĭoes anyone know why this is happening and how to keep this from happening?
